I pride myelf on creating timeless images and one way I achieve that is to not use a lot of props.  We keep it simple and classic with a few twists throughout the session, maybe a hat or headband or a colourful backdrop.  The key is not to use it just because you need more images, but to enhance an already great session.  I have quite a few nappy covers, headbands, hats and rugs I use, but I always welcome parents bringing along something they love and that suits their style.  It lets you have a hand in the styling of your session too and it doesn’t need to cost too much.

Here’s the gorgeous Sophie.

I have so many lovely maternty sessions to blog at the moment and I’m anxiously awaiting the arrival of quite a few little boys and one little girl.  These lovely two are both in the army and they scheduled their session at 30 weeks as hubby is off on a training course so we got in before he left.  Luckily Bronwen had a beautiful round belly already.  I think these images are so special to them and so will the newborn one’s be, as unfortunately Jarred won’t be around for the birth.  It’s amazing how much our military families sacrifice and I’m honoured to be working with them.

I’ve been having a small break over the school holidays as work doesn’t mix very well with these two livewires.  We’ve been having lots of fun and doing so many things and they are officially tired and a little bit on the fussy side.  That’s a very polite way of saying that today they have spent some time in their bedrooms.  It’s been a wonderful time, they have played so beautifully together and I’m very proud of the love they have for each other.  There have been moments, but where I’ve always kind of dreaded school holiday’s, this one’s been great and I’ll finally be one of those mum’s that looks forward to them.  Six and four is proving to be such great ages for them!

So here they are, hair and all:) The tickling/wrestling game which looks super fun, but always ends in tears.

The we’re so cute pose.

One for mummy.

I’ve had the fortune of meeting this little boy on three occasions now.  We spread his session over two meetings while his mummy was recovering and I got to meet him a third time when he brought along his three big sisters for a quick session.  He was super sweet and look at his beautiful skin!

Firstly a couple of him still with mum.  I say it all the time, but how very beautiful is a pregnant woman.  The gorgeous Emma.

And starring on his own.

I’ve been looking forward to meeting the lovely Miss TT – I knew she’d be the prettiest little thing as her mummy is super gorgeous!

She was a touch on the fiesty side, but who doesn’t like their children to have some spirit.  I know I sometimes complain that my two girls have too much, but I’m secretly quite proud that they have a spark.  I hope to meet this little girl over the years, I’m sure she’ll be the perfect model.

Like an angel floating on a cloud:)

Some mummy and daddy love.
