.now married. | Perth Wedding/Engagement Photography

Earlier in the year I had the pleasure of meeting a great Chinese couple who were living in Perth while they were studying.   They had been married in China earlier and wanted to have some engagement photos taken in Perth before they returned to China permanently and had their official wedding ceremony and celebration.  They were planning to use the images to decorate the reception and promised to send me through some photos so I could see what they had done.  I received them yesterday and thought I’d post them as I’m amazed at the size of the images – lifesize!  As I am a photographer who offers the digital images to my clients I don’t often see my work printed large and it was actually a bit of a buzz to see these images.  Thank you Annie for thinking of me.  I loved working with you both and I really hope that one day we meet up again.

.group post. | Family and Child Photographer Perth

It’s been a hectic couple of months and I’ve neglected my blog posting so I’ve lazily written one post with multiple images of the wonderful families I’ve worked with lately.  There are a LOT of images, so please try and take the time to scroll through.  I’d hate for anyone to get missed!

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year!

Thank you to Anna and Thomas who were travelling around Australia from Austria.  They did a search for a photographer on the internet and chose me to photograph them when visiting Perth.

I must admit the majority of my work seems to be in maternity and newborn and it was a fantastic experience to work again with a family with older children.  I had so much fun working with you all and R and C are natural models.  It was almost too easy :)

I love when my clients refer me to their friends or when their friends see their images and book me.  It was so lovely to meet you Jo and your gorgeous family – thank you Ninka if you’re checking out my blog.  Mr H was a bit fussy when we first met so I got to meet them again for another session.  How gorgeous are these little one’s – must be great genes!

When baby B arrived at 10.00am he had had his lovely mum up since 3.30am.  Oh I remember those days!  Surprisingly mum still looked great – I know I wouldn’t have.  I often get the non-sleepy newborns, but somehow I worked my magic and poor exhausted B went off to sleep for his session.  What a sweet boy.

Well it’s official – I think I’ve managed to photograph every area of portrait photography – maternity, newborn, baby, toddler, family, wedding, engagement, boudoir and now pet photography.  When Michael asked me if I would photograph their beloved pets along with their gorgeous four month old bundle I was up for the challenge, but made sure I said I couldn’t promise them results.  I never imagined myself when I started my business that I would be crawling around trying to convince a cat to let me take it’s photo!  I’m really happy I gave it a go and I think their images turned out well.  Of course baby I didn’t look too bad either.

One of my favourite clients revisted me this year for their little one’s portraits.  Miss M-L features heavily on my website and if you’ve checked it out you’ll remember her and her amazing blue eyes.  It was so lovely to see her again and now as a grown up two year old.  She is just the sweetest little girl and I had so much fun following her around – if only my own two year old would be so compliant when it came to having her photo taken.  I would treasure having some photos like these.  Thank you again and I hope to photograph her for many years to come.
